The Process

Initial Assessment and Quotation

1. Site Visit : The service provider will typically visit your property to assess the type and volume of rubble to be removed.
2. Waste classification: They identify different materials (e.g., building rubble, garden waste, household junk, hazardous materials) to determine appropriate handling and disposal methods.
3. Free quotation: Based on the assessment, they provide a detailed, no-obligation quote, outlining the cost factors.

Collection & Loading

1. Scheduling: The service is scheduled at a convenient time for the client.
2. Equipment: The team arrives with appropriate vehicles (e.g., tippers, trucks with hydraulic arms for grab hire) and tools for efficient loading.
3. Manual loading: For sites with limited access or smaller loads, manual loading is often provided.
4. Skip hire: Many services offer skip hire, where a skip (container) is delivered to your site for you to fill, and then collected once full. Skip sizes vary to accommodate different volumes of waste.

Responsible Disposal and Recycling:

Transportation: The collected rubble is transported to designated disposal or processing facilities.
Sorting and segregation: Materials are often sorted at the facility or even on-site to separate recyclables from general waste.
Recycling: A key component is the commitment to environmental responsibility. Recyclable materials like concrete, bricks, metal, and wood are processed to reduce landfill waste.
Proper disposal: Non-recyclable waste is disposed of at municipal dumping grounds or licensed landfills, adhering to environmental regulations. Hazardous materials are handled through specialized services.
